DECORATING TRENDS FOR 2015

We’re so close to the end of the year! Mobile Diseño is already preparing for 2015, analysing the latest trends in interior design and decoration, so we can offer our clients the best and most exclusive new products.

Next year, two décor styles will continue to dominate, as they have in recent years. Let’s analyse them:

1. Eclectic

Variety is decoration. This is the main tenet of the eclectic look, which mixes furniture and accessories of different eras and styles.

To create an eclectic interior, you need to take your inspiration from a wide range of styles until you find the harmonious,original combination which is right for you. This is a very personal style, which is its strength: there is no right or wrong way to achieve an eclectic look, although there are certain design rules it is wise to follow, such as how colours combine, the distribution of space, visual weight, and so on.

2. Vintage

This style has been very trendy in recent years, in fashion as well as in decoration and interiors. The Vintage style is inspired by the 1930s and 40s, with mainly Provencal-style furniture, with wavy lines and curves. It’s ideal if you are looking for an elegant result which is still romantic in mood.

You can add a special accent by including modern elements with straight lines and strong colours in a vintage décor, for an even more original result. In this case you need to be even more careful with the placement and the quantity of these elements, so the result is still harmonious and does not detract from the desired mood.
