This project took us to a privileged location in Marbella, in the residential estate of Floresta Sur. The roofs of the constructions on its high ground almost graze the clouds and the blue of the sky is more intense because of its proximity.
The owners told us that their new holiday apartment should be decorated using three main colours: white, grey and taupe. They also wanted light to bathe all the rooms as much as possible and a fully open space.
With their requests under our arm we set to work. These pictures show the passion we put into every detail and every decision.
The living room shares space directly with the dining room and kitchen. The colours we used here were simple while elegant: white lacquer with small touches of mirror and silver. We added some blue for frames and cushions.
As for the fabrics, we chose grey, almost transparent tones, so that our clients would not be distracted from their house's incredible views.
The terrace was, undoubtedly, the most important space. With a large window facing the Malaga coast, we used glass curtains to protect all the furniture from the harsh rays of the sun, wind and rain. The colours we chose were white to decorate the structure and taupe for fabrics.
Small details resembling a natural environment can also be seen such as the vertical garden, small palm trees and tall white vases with aloe vera.
We also used white lacquer and mirror for the bedroom; a place of dreams. In addition, our Works Department built a hole in the wall where the bed rests and in which a thin line of warm LED lighting was installed. We also covered the wall with decorative wallpaper from the company Osborne and Little and hung two oval lamps from the ceilings.
Finally, to accentuate the feeling of rest, we used soft, deep pile carpets for the floors so walking barefoot will be quite pleasurable.
Our clients were satisfied when they saw that everything was ready for comfort and relaxing, ensuring they could spend a dream summer overlooking the Costa del Sol.
